We hope that you’ve been able to join with us for our live-streamed worship on Sundays. We gather online at 11am and 6.30pm. A reminder that there is also a catch up service available if you’ve missed any services.
Easter is a time where the whole world is reminded that whilst we can know the pain of Good Friday, that we look forward in faith to the renewed hope of resurrection and new life on Easter Sunday. If ever we and our world needed to focus on such glorious truths it is now.
For our morning service we’re going to have an Easter Family Service. Everything we do will be geared towards children and families so we can worship together. In the evening we’re going to have a special Easter Communion Service.
I will lead communion live from the church and will encourage people to have bread and juice (Ribena or something similar) ready in their own homes to share in what will be a special time together. I hope you can join us for these special services and would ask you to encourage others to do likewise.
As we continue to face the challenge of social isolation and social distancing, this will be a powerful time for us to unite together around Christ and who He is, all that He has done for us. We need to be reminded of the greatness of His love for us.
The blessing of live streaming is that we will not just join as part of Martins Memorial Church family, but we will gather as the Family of Christ as our brothers and sisters join us from across our nation, and even the nations. Please plan for next weekend and join us if you can.
Yours in Christ’s service.
